The 45-year-old was suddenly involved in a collision when he came upon a tractor-trailer that was stopped in the traffic lane. Moments after the initial collision took place, another vehicle coming up from behind slammed into the man’s car.
The results of the second collision were fatal
A young woman, age 30, was behind the wheel of the car that crashed into the rear of the first vehicle that collided with the truck. Sadly, the force of the impact resulted in serious injuries. The woman died while still at the scene. Rescuers transported another accident victim to a nearby hospital for emergency care.
